USR you can do all the stuff in my first reply. GPS Visualizer: Web interface to GPSBabel has known issues which is why I use directly. > Sorry, we do not know how to decode Lowrance USR trail version 6. Both and GPS Visualizer: Web interface to GPSBabel allow conversion to/from. The older formats is sonar data that comes with the trail on newer usr(s). On lowrance you have a choice of usr1, 2, 3 etc, I think what you lose on That could import it and save as an older version? > To unsubscribe, change list options, or see archives, visit:Īttachments: Screen Shot at 8.19.20 AM.pngĭoes simrad give you any other format that you can save as?Īssuming that you still have access to this simrad device or another one > Lowrance USR: Cannot open file '/Users/JoelOffice/Desktop/r'! > /Users/JoelOffice/Desktop/r -o humminbird -F 1 > Error running gpsbabel: Process exited unsuccessfully with code 1 > Lowrance USR trail version 6 not supported!! > /Users/JoelOffice/Desktop/r -o gpx -F 1 > don’t have to convert the file for a second time. ![]() > The file (dropbox link below) is 68.8 MB and we receive this error > We are using a Mac with V11.2.3 and GPSBabel 1.7.0. > year from a Simrad Chartplotter last year so to install it on a > We are in the process of trying to covert a (.SR) file generated last Usual advice in this situation is to export the data from your device Sorry, we do not know how to decode Lowrance USR trail version 6. Don't forget to download the TM user manual.īTW, the kind of problem you encountered is common when going to/from GPS files. TM is free and comes with a North America map that is of no value except for the main highways and a few rivers or drainage's. Once you have a TM file save it as a KML and use screen capture for your picture. You can also use TM to edit and add short WP text. On the B1k first USRv3 file it was full of garbage that they subsequently fixed on later versions. ![]() If your USR file is bad edit the thing until you are happy. Once you think you have a good USR by viewing on TM then use the "save file as" and choose KML. BTW TM does not support USRv4 (just v0 thru 3). However I use for your task with success. If you have a good file there will not be garbage or extraneous tracks that you sometimes get from other conversion SW. I wonder what Trophy uses?Īssuming you have a USRv3 - Verify you have a valid and not corrupted USR by loading it into Trackmaker. OK, here is what I do, but I do not use a Trophy so give us some feed back if you do the following.įirst did you try to convert for USR v3 or USRv4. ![]()
